Simpson County holds first reading on ordinance to require conditional-use permits for 'Advanced Technology Centers'
On first reading the Fiscal Court approved Ordinance No. 440.70 to require conditional-use permits for facilities described as Advanced Technology Centers or Integrated Energy Systems in Simpson County; the text would allow local conditions, a 180-day compliance window for existing facilities, and enforcement penalties up to $10,000 per day for noncompliance.
