Judge/Executive Mason Barnes called for the recusal after Phillips’ report. The court recorded the vote as “yes” from Magistrates Marty Chandler, Scott Poston and Myron Thurman and Judge Barnes; Jeffrey Burr was recorded as recused. The court did not take further action at the meeting to adjudicate Burr’s residency or alter his official status beyond the recusal from votes where he had a potential conflict.
