At its Nov. 18, 2025 regular meeting, the Simpson County Fiscal Court approved multiple board appointments, budget transfers and incentive resolutions, authorized bid advertising, and heard a residency challenge that led West Magistrate Jeffrey Burr to recuse himself while the matter is reviewed.
