Morton and Burleigh county commissions enter closed session on ongoing litigation
On Oct. 31, 2025 the Morton County and Burleigh County commissions met jointly in Bismarck and voted unanimously to go into an executive session under NDCC 44-04-19.1(9) for attorney consultation and negotiation strategy on ongoing litigation; the closed session ran from 9:04–10:03 a.m., and the meeting adjourned upon reconvening.
