Ten Mile Planning Commission delays decision on Bill’s Ranch service plan, asks applicant to supply required materials

The Ten Mile Planning Commission, meeting Aug. 8, 2024 in Summit County, voted unanimously to continue review of PLN24-043, the Service Plan for the Bill’s Ranch Metropolitan District, to a date to be agreed upon by staff and the applicant so the applicant can submit the required application materials.
Staff recommended that the commission study the service plan and provide comments to the Board of County Commissioners before the BOCC considers the matter. The plan covers the Bill’s Ranch Subdivision and, according to the application materials listed on the county project page, would encompass about 80 parcels on roughly 61 acres. The application filing lists Joseph W. Norris, attorney with Cockrel Ela Glesne Greher & Ruhland, P.C., as representing Bill’s Ranch Neighborhood Association / Ten Mile.
Commissioner Ross Sheely moved to follow staff’s recommendation and continue the matter; Commissioner Kelsey Withrow seconded. The motion “carried by a vote of 4-0,” according to the meeting record. Commissioners present were Mike Beernsten (chair), Steve Alberico, Ross Sheely and Kelsey Withrow. The record does not specify individual roll-call votes beyond the stated 4-0 result.
