Mayor Richard Stewart told the Board of Commissioners he is forming an ad hoc committee to explore options for a community recreation center. At the April 17 meeting the mayor read the initial list of members (including Stanley Bean, Johnny Hughes, Curtis Francis, Dan Sidley, Chuck Reed, Eric Vanzant, Dave Van Buskirk, Holly Eslick and Jamie Babian) and said additional members would be named.
