The Dickson County Commission met July 19, 2021, at the Dickson County Courthouse and approved a slate of routine actions, including reappointments, zoning changes, procurement rule adjustments and several speed-limit decisions. Chairman and County Mayor Bob Rial presided; the meeting began at 7:00 P.M. and adjourned at 7:27 P.M.
The commission reappointed Ken Nafe to the Sanitation Board and Wilson Overton to the Audit Committee for three-year terms. Commissioner Johnnie Reed moved to reappoint Nafe, Commissioner James C. Dawson seconded; Commissioner Randy Simpkins moved to reappoint Overton and Commissioner Becky Spicer seconded. Both motions passed by unanimous aye voice votes.
