Barry County postpones vote on 2025–2029 Parks and Recreation Master Plan until Jan. 7

Commissioner Jon Smelker asked that the board delay final adoption to allow further discussion. Chair David Jackson moved to postpone adoption of Resolution #24‑31, and Smelker supported the motion. The board voted unanimously to postpone the adoption until the Committee of the Whole meeting on Jan. 7, 2025. The public hearing was closed at 9:15 a.m.
