Whitfield County approves fire gear, server upgrade and intersection realignment contracts
The board approved $79,372 for fire department uniforms, $69,008 for turnout gear from NAFECO (about 20 sets), a $17,940 Sheriff's Office server upgrade, and ratified a $99,963.77 bid for the Dawnville/Beaverdale Road intersection realignment; all votes recorded as unanimous or 4-0 except where noted.
