Putnam County approves conditional use for barn, tables multiple Harmony Road rezoning requests
Putnam County commissioners approved a conditional use for a 40' x 60' multi-use barn at 297 Anchor Point Drive and tabled three rezoning requests on Harmony Road and a separate rezoning request at 826 Harmony Road until Feb. 17, 2026 for further review.

The Putnam County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 16 approved a conditional use permit allowing a 40-foot by 60-foot multi-use barn with storage at 297 Anchor Point Drive under two conditions: the parcel may not be subdivided, and accessory structures are limited to the one barn sited in accordance with development regulations. The motion to approve was made by Commissioner Jeff Wooten and seconded by Commissioner Tom McElhenney; Commissioners McElhenney, Richard Garrett (by phone) and Wooten voted yea.
