Charlotte County Board adopts redistricting plan while Registrar investigation continues
Administrator Daniel Witt told the Board an investigation concerning the Registrar's Office could be lengthy; the Board voted unanimously to approve the county redistricting plan and move forward rather than delay.

At the June 13 meeting Administrator Daniel Witt informed the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors that an investigation involving the Registrar's Office could be protracted. Despite that pending inquiry, staff recommended proceeding with action on the proposed redistricting plan.
