Simpson County Fiscal Court amends clerk and sheriff budgets, adopts CPI pay adjustment resolution
The court approved amended 2023 budgets for the County Clerk and Sheriff's offices, set deputy compensation maximums, approved budget transfers and bills, and adopted Resolution 2023-07-05EMP implementing CPI-based pay adjustments effective July 1, 2023.

Simpson County Fiscal Court on July 5 approved several budget amendments and a personnel pay adjustment resolution. The court amended the County Clerk’s 2023 budget to $6,350,428 and set the Annual Order maximum for County Clerk deputies and assistants at $436,728. It also approved an amended 2023 Sheriff’s budget of $2,659,401 and set the Sheriff’s Annual Order maximum for deputies and assistants at $2,168,446.
