By roll call the commission increased the fee participants in the county’s work‑release program pay from $45 to $65 per week, effective Sept. 22, 2019; payment is required weekly and failure to pay may lead to suspension from the program.

The Franklin County Commission approved Resolution 9h‑0919 on Sept. 16 raising the weekly fee charged to inmates participating in the county’s work‑release program from $45 to $65. The motion was moved by Commissioner Lydia Curtis Johnson, seconded by Jennifer Stines, and approved by roll call 13 ayes and one pass.
