Fulton County to replace 20+-year-old dispatch clocks, approves regional support contract

Brian Barton, EMA/911 Director for Fulton County, told the board that the dispatch clocks in the county dispatch center are over 20 years old and need replacement. "Pre Alert" is in place, and the information has been sent out to the fire departments, Barton said during the meeting.
The commissioners approved and executed a ComPros quote for two dispatch clocks including hardware and installation for $4,940.00. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve the purchase and the motion carried with "All in favor."
In the same discussion the board approved the 2026 Mission Critical Partners Regional Support Contract for professional services; minutes note the contract is fully grant funded. The approvals were recorded as routine board actions in the meeting minutes.
