The Tift County Board of Commissioners on Dec. 11 appointed Miriam Jordan as County Clerk and Anthony Rowell as County Attorney.
Commissioner Donnie Hester moved to appoint Miriam Jordan as County Clerk; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Paul Webb and carried 6-0. Hester also moved to appoint Anthony Rowell as County Attorney; the motion to appoint Rowell was seconded by Commissioner Stan Stalnaker and carried 6-0.
No further discussion or conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes for either appointment. The appointments will be reflected in county records and take effect per county administrative procedures.
