Coffee County commissioners ratify grants and appointments, hear Comprehensive Plan update
At its Feb. 6 meeting the Coffee County Board of Commissioners ratified a Georgia Power utility relocation agreement, approved a consulting contract for a firefighter grant, awarded a Hazard Mitigation Plan update contract, approved board appointments and a proclamation, and held a public hearing on the FY2023 Comprehensive Plan update with public workshops scheduled to start March 23, 2023.

The Coffee County Board of Commissioners met Feb. 6 and voted unanimously on a series of routine and planning items, including ratifying a utility relocation agreement for a Riverbend Road CDBG project, approving a consultant to prepare and administer a grant application for fire department equipment, awarding a Hazard Mitigation Plan update contract, approving several board appointments, and holding a public hearing on the FY2023 Comprehensive Plan update.
