The Claiborne County Commission on Dec. 18 approved Res. 2023-132, a budget amendment to cover ambulance subsidy obligations under a 2014 Transaction Agreement with Claiborne Medical Center (CMC). The agreement requires the county to pay $13,750 per month ($165,000 annually) and to provide up to one replacement ambulance if CMC submits a written replacement notice with make, model and price information.
