Commission backs TVA marina support; developer pitches large Lone Mountain/Norris Lake project
Developers from HEXA LLC outlined plans for a multi-phase development at Lone Mountain/Norris Lake; the commission approved Res. 2023-107 supporting TVA’s commercial marina application, 18-2. The project would include home sites, condominiums, RV park amenities and a commercial marina with about 40 acres of harbor.

Developers representing HEXA LLC told the Claiborne County Commission on Nov. 20 that they plan a large, phased development in the Lone Mountain/Norris Lake area that would include home sites, condominiums, a non-residential RV park, marine slips and associated roads and utilities. The presenters said the Planning Commission had approved the project and estimated a 6-to-8 year timeline to complete the development.
