Separately, the board voted (motion by Commissioner Trigg, seconded by Commissioner Nye) to adopt Resolution 2025-007 supporting the TAP grant application on behalf of the Friends of Betsie Valley Trail and authorized administration to work with the Friends to complete necessary site-control documents and a DNR grant submission, including related Resolution 2025-008.
County officials stated funds for the paving would come from the Betsie Valley Trail Fund. The board also approved routine procurement and administrative steps, including legal form review and chair signature authority, to move the project forward.
