Ware County picks Statewide Engineering for LMIG/SAP work and pares down 2026 road list
Commissioners approved Statewide Engineering, Inc. to serve as engineer for the 2026 LMIG ($1,273,448.87) and 2025 SAP ($372,110.00) projects and removed two roads from the LMIG candidate list, lowering estimated cost to $579,516.71 and leaving $552,815.76 available.

The Ware County Board of Commissioners voted Aug. 27 to designate Statewide Engineering, Inc. as engineer for the county’s 2026 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) work, budgeted at $1,273,448.87, and for the 2025 Safety Action Plan (SAP) grant of $372,110.00.
