Drake Bivins, chief financial and operations officer for Camp Southern Ground, told the board the revisions "directly reflected changes in their program needs and would have no impact to traffic or changes in the use of the property." Several commissioners expressed support; Commissioner Eric K. Maxwell said he had not received complaints during his prior residence in the area and supported the camp's efforts, and Chairman Lee Hearn praised the organization's efforts to be a "good neighbor." The motion to approve passed 5-0.
