Community Development Director Diane Cucar told the Elk County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 9 that ESM found red flags in the environmental study conducted for the property at 1285 Evergreen. The board heard the report during the old-business portion of the meeting; no motion or formal action was recorded on the item during the session.
Cucar also announced upcoming community events tied to her department: a Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge on Feb. 11 in Longton and a mobile food bank scheduled for Feb. 18 at the Moline Library at 1:00 p.m. The board did not record further direction or next steps on the environmental-study concerns during the meeting.
