Rawlins County EMS reports inspection pass, training plans and submits wage request

Rawlins County EMS told the commissioners on April 15 that it passed state inspection and is planning training for local students while requesting a wage increase for EMS staff.
Megan Rippe presented March and part‑April run reports, said the service passed state inspection with only minor protocol changes to be processed through the medical director, and described in‑house CPR instruction as well as planned CPR classes for Rawlins County High School and Rawlins County Junior High curricula. Rippe also outlined a proposed babysitting class for youth at the end of the school year.
Rippe submitted a wage request to the board; the minutes record that the request was presented but do not list the requested dollars or any immediate vote. Commissioners took the report for the record and did not approve wage changes at the meeting.
