Ford County approves road-use and engineering agreements for Stellar Forge data center

County Legal Counsel Glenn Kerbs and County Engineer Jon Halbgewachs presented a Road Use Agreement governing construction traffic and a separate engineering-services contract with Kirkham Michael for construction oversight and related work. Commissioner Shawn Tasset moved to approve the road-use agreement; Commissioner Chris Boys seconded and the motion passed 3-0. Commissioners then approved the engineering agreement by the same vote.
The agreements were presented as routine project commitments necessary for county oversight and road protections during construction. County staff said the contracts define responsibilities for construction-related impacts and the engineering scope to ensure county standards are met. No alternatives or dissenting votes were recorded.
The approvals allow Stellar Forge’s local construction to proceed with county oversight in place; county staff will administer the agreements moving forward.
