Burleson County hears request to formalize CERT support and funding

Deannie Gold and Elizabeth Rink (CERT) and Michael Nicholls (BVCOG), joined by Patrick Danielczyk, explained to the court how CERT volunteers support responses to fires, community events and other local incidents and requested a signed MOU and funding to sustain operations. The group described CERT’s typical activities and said a formal agreement would clarify responsibilities and enable more reliable deployment and support.
