Kari Coates, Butler County EMS Coordinator, told the Board of Supervisors on Oct. 22 that she responded to 228 calls between October 2023 and October 2024 and that she personally first-responded to 133 of those calls. Coates said 60 calls were transports with a driver and a second provider accompanied 36 calls; she described training and outreach plans tied to an EMS levy on the November general-election ballot.
