Simpson County Fiscal Court voted Sept. 9 to accept a $96,665 bid from Scott & Murphy Inc. to replace the collapsed culvert on Neely Road (CR-1343), authorize an Oct. 1, 2024 start date, and empower Judge-Executive Mason Barnes to sign project documents; county’s share under the 80/20 formula is estimated at $19,333.
