Cheatham County approves two zone changes, reappointment and location agreement; notary slate confirmed

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. — The Cheatham County Legislative Body on July 15 approved two advertised zone changes, confirmed an appointment and signed off on several administrative items.
The body approved a zone change for Map 37, Parcel 6 (1010 Forestwood Road) from Agriculture to R1 after a presentation by Building Commissioner Franklin Wilkinson; the Planning Commission had recommended approval (5 Yes, 1 No, 1 Abstain, 2 Absent). The Legislative Body approved the change on a roll-call vote of 11 Yes, 0 No, 1 Abstain (Ann Jarreau).
The body also approved a zone change for Map 86, Parcel 133 (Nora Lane) from E1 to R1. The Planning Commission record shows a recommendation to deny that request, but the Legislative Body moved to approve on a roll-call vote of 12 Yes, 0 No.
County Mayor Kerry McCarver announced the reappointment of H.O. Lampley to the Second South Cheatham Utility District Board for a term beginning August 2019 and ending August 2023. The commission also approved the mayor’s signature for Casper Connect license terms and conditions for the sheriff’s department (roll-call 12–0), and approved a non‑filmed location agreement for the Tucker Empson Building (roll-call 12–0).
On the consent calendar commissioners approved a roster of notary public applicants by voice vote. The meeting adjourned at 8:08 P.M.
