Cheatham County OKs zoning changes, 2018 building codes, budget amendments and capital projects

Zoning and codes: The commission approved two zone-change requests: Michael and Kristi Hasse’s property (Map 039, Parcel 71 at 2032 Milliken Rd.) from E1 to R1, and James and Angeline Heath’s property (Map 66, Parcel 20.03 at 1245 Sams Creek Rd.) from E1 to R1; the Heath parcel includes land in a Special Flood Hazard Area. The body also adopted the 2018 editions of the International Residential, Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, Fuel Gas, Swimming Pool and Spa, Fire, Energy, and Property Maintenance Codes, as amended.
