At its Oct. 17 meeting, the Sevier County Commission adopted several administrative resolutions, including updating the county purchasing threshold to align with recent changes in state law. Commissioners cited Tennessee Code Annotated section 12-3-1212 (via Senate Bill 2489 and House Bill 2600) raising the threshold to not exceed $25,000; the resolution was moved by Commissioner Bryan Delius, seconded by Commissioner C. Ogle and passed by roll call (23 yes, 2 absent).
