The Bland County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Feb. 25 to adopt a resolution and approve a letter of support for Gigabeam Networks’ application under the federal Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program. Supervisor Keith Costello moved to adopt the resolution; Supervisor Patrick Groseclose seconded the motion, which passed on a roll call vote.
