County Manager James Shubert presented Ordinance 2025‑02 to amend the Ware County Code by adding Chapter 68, "Cryptocurrency & Data Mining." He said the Waycross‑Ware County Planning Commission unanimously approved the requested text amendment on March 13, 2025 and that the ordinance provides basic guidelines; Shubert added that the public hearing following the work session will address location restrictions and zoning regulations.
