The Coffee County Board of Commissioners recorded a first reading Sept. 3 for a rezoning application from Billy Raulerson to allow storage and refurbishment of modular buildings.
Jason Whiddon, the county’s Code Enforcement Director, told the board the Planning Commission met on June 20, 2024 and recommended approval and that staff agreed with the recommendation. The matter was presented as a first reading; there was no final vote or action to rezone at this meeting.
What happens next: The rezoning will return for additional consideration at a future meeting where the board will take final action, consistent with the county’s zoning process.
