Union County approves highway contract, routine contracts, payroll and multiple abatements
At its March 4, 2025 meeting the Union County Board approved a $118,147.25 agreement with Sir Lines‑A‑Lot for highway work, approved bids and equipment purchases for the Highway Department, ratified a Siouxland Humane Society contract and a VSO job description, and approved multiple abatements, payroll warrants and surplus items.

The Union County Board of Commissioners on March 4, 2025, approved a series of routine contracts, purchases and financial items, including a $118,147.25 agreement with Sir Lines‑A‑Lot for highway work. The motion to sign the Sir Lines‑A‑Lot agreement was made by Commissioner Dailey and seconded by Commissioner Kimmel; the board carried the motion.
