Brewster County approves project list and boosts project budget to include Marathon

Brewster County Commissioners on Sept. 9 approved a county project list that includes cybersecurity workstation upgrades and shade cover for heavy equipment in the county’s southern area and voted to increase the project budget "from 20 to 60 thousand" so it will include Marathon.

County Judge Greg P. Henington presented the project list and said the proposed work would cover password-protected computers and related cybersecurity improvements and equipment shade structures. Henington moved to approve the project list, Commissioner Ruben Ortega seconded, and the court approved the motion 5-0.
