Fleming County Fiscal Court approved county road maintenance reports and authorized the regional road commission to solicit bids for a range of road materials and services at its March 11 meeting.
The court approved the February 2025 County Road maintenance reports and voted to allow the Buffalo Trace Area Development District (ADD) Road Commission to seek bids for aggregates, fuel, bituminous materials, chip-and-seal, cold mix asphalt, corrugate pipe, paving, road salt and material transports. The action was recorded as unanimous.
A letter requesting paving for Phipps Lane was received and acknowledged by the court. Road Supervisor Anthony Vise reported specific needed work: repairs to a bridge on Lazy Oaks Lane and a low-water crossing on Wendell Lane, and said upcoming projects starting next week include remediation of road slips on Goddard Road and Big Bend Locust Road.
The minutes record these items as approved without opposition; no contract awards or bid results were recorded at the meeting.
