IDA authorizes VCEDA grant application for environmental study of former CNX site
The Industrial Development Authority voted 6–0 to apply for a VCEDA grant to fund a preliminary engineering report and environmental assessment for the former CNX property adjacent to the Tazewell Career and Technical Center; Mrs. Melanie Protti-Lawrence moved the measure and Mr. Mack Payne seconded.

The Industrial Development Authority of Tazewell County on Nov. 12 authorized staff to apply for a Virginia Economic Development (VCEDA) grant to pay for a preliminary engineering report (PER) and an environmental assessment of the former CNX property adjacent to the Tazewell Career and Technical Center.
