Board reappoints three members to Fayette County Public Facilities Authority
On unanimous votes the Board reappointed Thomas Gray, Edward Outlaw and Alice Reeves to one-year terms on the Public Facilities Authority and extended each to the next successive term per County Policy 100.19. The authority issues bonds for public facilities and meets infrequently.

Chief Financial Officer Sheryl Weinmann presented the Selection Committee’s recommendations to reappoint three volunteers to the Fayette County Public Facilities Authority. Weinmann described the Authority as a three-member volunteer body that may issue bonds for acquisition, construction, equipping, maintenance and operation of county facilities and noted it meets infrequently, roughly once per year.
