Dooly County approves architect, moves to acquire two elementary sites for DFCS facility
The county awarded an architectural contract for a new Department of Family and Children Services facility and approved an intergovernmental contract to acquire Unadilla and Vienna elementary school properties for $350,000 in three annual installments, contingent on the school district completing a new consolidated school.

The Dooly County Board of Commissioners voted in early March 2001 to execute an architectural services contract with Jones & Gauthreaux Architects, P.C. to design a new Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) facility.
