Dooly County creates County Administrator post and appoints Clerk Stephen Sanders
After two readings the commission adopted an ordinance establishing a County Administrator and voted to appoint Stephen C. Sanders to the position effective immediately.

On Oct. 16 and Nov. 6 the Board conducted the first and second readings of an ordinance to establish the office of County Administrator. The ordinance defines appointment, qualifications, duties (including budget preparation, contract oversight and department supervision), bond requirements and salary provisions.
