Parmer County commissioners approved the purchase of a loader for Precinct 2 at a special session March 15, authorizing financing through Security State Bank.
Commissioner Charles Wilkins, Precinct 2, told the court he intended to acquire the equipment from a public auction and presented a lease agreement showing $125,000 in financing. Wilkins said the proposed payment schedule was for three years at $46,314.36 annually and that the County Attorney had reviewed the lease.
Commissioner Kenny White moved to approve the purchase and financing; Commissioner Kirk Frye seconded the motion. The court approved the measure by majority vote. The minutes do not list individual vote tallies.
With no further business, the court adjourned at 1:10 p.m. and the minutes were signed by County Clerk Susie Spring.
