Town staff told the council the town has ordered 10 fire hydrants to be placed strategically in areas currently served by a 4‑inch main (Putter/Player/Fairway) and to replace aging hydrants elsewhere. Brian Richards said the new units "will add 3 in that area and then start replacing existing hydrants that need to be replaced."
