The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved amendments requested by the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority and made a related appointment during its Dec. 30 meeting.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve Resolution 9 of 2025, amending the BFJRA articles of incorporation to increase the number of board members; the motion passed unanimously. On the same motioner, the board approved Resolution 10 of 2025 to amend BFJRA articles to authorize the Authority to appoint police officers with the same Commonwealth property rights as other police officers.
The board then appointed Craig Cutchall to a one-year term on the BFJRA, with the term expiring Jan. 3, 2027. Commissioners also approved an agreement to retain Keller Engineer, Inc. for the 2026 fiscal year (to be formally appointed at the Jan. 6, 2026 Reorganizational Meeting) and approved Planning Commission meeting dates for FY2026 as presented by Justin Evans for advertisement in the Fulton County Newspaper.
These are administrative governance, personnel and procurement actions recorded in the meeting minutes; each motion was announced with its mover and recorded as carried "all in favor."
