LaPorte County Plan Commission elects leadership, confirms appointments
At its Jan. 27, 2026 meeting the LaPorte County Plan Commission elected Rita Beaty president and James (Jimmy) Pressell III vice president and unanimously confirmed several appointments including Eric Pointon to the Board of Zoning, Michael Polan as recording secretary/building commissioner, and Doug Biege as commission attorney.
