Kittitas County approves three-tier Application Developer classification for IT staff
The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved a new three-tier Application Developer job classification (I, II, III) on June 23, 2025; current developers will be placed at Tier I and HR contributed to creating the classification.

Kittitas County commissioners voted on June 23 to approve a tiered Application Developer classification for county IT staff. Assistant IT Director Zane Kinney told the board that IT and Human Resources had worked together to create Application Developer I, II and III, and that current application developers would be placed at Tier I.
