Grove Municipal Services Authority elects Andy Stewart chair; Ivan Devitt chosen vice-chair

At its Dec. 2 meeting the Grove Municipal Services Authority unanimously elected Andy Stewart as chairman and Ivan Devitt as vice-chair, approved routine minutes and purchase orders, and adjourned after hearing staff updates and a trustee odor complaint.
The Grove Municipal Services Authority elected Andy Stewart as chairman and Ivan Devitt as vice-chair at its Dec. 2, 2025 regular meeting.
Trustee Ed Trumbull moved to elect Stewart as chairman; Trustee Justin Wadley seconded and the motion carried 4-0, with votes recorded for Ivan Devitt, Ed Trumbull, Justin Wadley and Berwin Kock. Trumbull then moved, again seconded by Wadley, to elect Ivan Devitt as vice-chair; that motion also passed unanimously.
The leadership votes were taken among the four trustees present and were part of routine organizational business at the start of the meeting. The meeting record shows the board then approved the Nov. 4 regular-meeting minutes and the Purchase Order Register by unanimous votes.
The meeting proceeded to business items and staff reports and adjourned at 3:17 p.m.
