After a closed session under Iowa Code 21.5(1)(i), the Monona County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously on Feb. 18, 2026, to terminate Engineer Bechtold’s employment contract for cause. The special meeting lasted 15 minutes and included approval of the agenda and adjournment.
