McPherson County adopts 2024–25 budget, sets final tax request
The McPherson County Board unanimously adopted the 2024–25 budget and set a final property tax request of $956,042.23, a $69,034.89 increase from last year, producing a county tax rate of .242605 per $100 of assessed value.

The McPherson County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt the county’s 2024–25 budget and set a final property tax request of $956,042.23 during a Sept. 19 special meeting and budget hearing. Commissioners John E. Bryant, Brett Nason and Jeff Arensdorf voted to approve the budget and related resolutions; there were no members of the public in attendance to comment at either hearing.
