Commissioners approve BFJRA governance changes and appoint Craig Cutchall
Fulton County commissioners approved two resolutions amending the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority's articles to increase board membership and allow the authority to appoint police officers with specified property-related powers, and appointed Craig Cutchall to a one-year term on the authority.

Representatives from the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority — Matthew Wakefield, Paul Johnston and Eric Weisbrod — met with the Fulton County commissioners to seek approval of two amendments to the authority's articles of incorporation. Commissioners approved Resolution 9 of 2025 to increase the number of BFJRA board members and Resolution 10 of 2025 to authorize the authority to appoint police officers who would have specified property-related policing rights comparable to other Commonwealth police in those regards. Both motions were moved by Commissioner Steven L. Wible and approved unanimously.
