Davis County Library Board ratifies OverDrive agreement, routine expenditures, contracts and a $5,000 Kaysville grant

The Davis County Library Board unanimously approved a series of routine financial and program actions on Feb. 12 and ratified an updated agreement with the Utah State Library to continue participation in the OverDrive Beehive Library Consortium.
Director Joshua Johnson presented the consent items, which the board approved without dissent. Justin Wright moved to approve the Jan. 8 minutes; Rosalie Taylor seconded and the motion carried. The board then ratified December 2025 expenditures, with Johnson noting revenues will continue to adjust as property-tax receipts are posted. He said the countywide hiring freeze remains while the county commission examines Fund 10, though the library fund itself is healthy.
